UKRAINE CLOSES ALL BORDERS TO SLOVAKIA DUE TO FLU

BRATISLAVA - Slovakia closes all but one border to Ukraine because of the flu outbreak. In Ukraine there are now more than 900.000 people infected and 135 have died so far.

At the only open border at Vysne Nemecke, doctors are stationed to check EVERY PERSON for flu symptoms. Anyone who exhibits signs of flu symptoms is not allowed in the country.

The border between the Ukraine and Slovakia is the East border of the EU. When a person enters this border, free travel within the EU is possible without checkpoints.
