Four states push to legalize marijuana
OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Washington joins three other states with legislators pushing to legalize and regulate marijuana.
California and Massachusetts introduced bills earlier this year, while New Hampshire and Washington state pre-filed bills before January's legislative sessions.
Marijuana is illegal under federal law, but advocates for legalization say interest is increasing in their cause.
Dozens of other states, including Wisconsin, are considering bills ranging from medical marijuana to decriminalization of small amounts.
People opposing relaxation of marijuana laws aren't happy with the growing curiosity of marijuana's legality.
